Bernina Classes

Before coming to class:
Please be sure you have experimented with the machine enough to feel comfortable using it. If you feel unsure, please have a staff member help to acquaint you. You will be amazed at how much more you will be able to absorb and retain from your Mastery Class with just some simple investigation of your BERNINA®. We generally recommend that you use your BERNINA® for at least a month before taking your Mastery Classes.

Sewing Machine Classes BERNETTES, BERNINA 1008 & Activas - Classes 1, 2. BERNINA Auroras & Artistas - all 3Classes. (Auroras attend only the first hour of Class 4.) Machines with a Bernina Stitch Regulator may need to stay an extra half hour at the end of Class 3. Bernina 8 Series Owners have there own set of classes for their machines usually set up between owners of the 8 series and the instructor. Bring your machine with all of the included accessories, good quality thread, scissors and instruction book. If you wish to make a notebook of samples, bring a three ring binder & page protectors. Serger Classes Serger models without coverstitch take Classes 1 & 2. Serger models with the coverstitch feature take all 3 Classes. Model 009DCC takes Class 3 only. Bring your serger, 4 cones of thread (3 cones for the 009DCC), scissors, instruction book & all accessories. If you wish to make a notebook of samples, bring a three ring binder & page protectors. Embroidery Machine Classes Bring your machine with all embroidery accessories, a medium or dark color of machine embroidery thread, a bobbin wound with bobbin thread and scissors. Auroras also need a computer with their software installed, the USB cable and the software security dongle. Please be sure the software is working before you come to class! Embroidery Software Classes Introductory Class This is an introductory class for all owners of Version6 BERNINA software. Further classes will be scheduled after you have completed this introductory class. Owners of earlier versions of the software are welcome, but should be aware that some features covered in the class may not be available in their software. Bring your laptop and don't forget your dongle. We highly recommend the use of a mouse. We will be using Part 1 of the Mastering Your BERNINA workbook, found below. You may download and print the workbook to bring to class. If you have only the ArtLink level of the BERNINA Software, you are welcome to join us for this class. We will be covering topics that are relevant to your software during the first hour of the class.
